Tawzea participation in the initiative of “Uninterrupted Education”

27 Apr, 2020

The Ministry of Education and Dubai Care, which are part of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, launched the initiative “Uninterrupted Education” in which Tawzea Distribution and Logistics Services participate as a logistics partner. This initiative aims to support the education of students in the UAE remotely, in conjunction with taking the precautionary and preventive measures to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus «Covid-19», and contain its repercussions. The initiative also calls on the entire Emirati community to contribute in making financial and in-kind donations to support children and youth from vulnerable families who cannot afford to buy a computer, laptop or tablet to enable the children to join their peers in a safe distance learning from their homes.

The campaign seeks to reduce the burden on parents who play an important role in the application of distance learning for their children, as well as supporting the teachers in their efforts to continue towards providing high-quality education for students to sustain their educational path. This is in light of the measures that the country is currently taking to address the repercussions of the emerging coronavirus «Covid-19».

Tawzea Distribution and Logistics services support the "Uninterrupted education” initiative by delivering computers, laptops, and tablets to students in their homes, following all the precautionary measures of the sterilization. The delivery phase begins with the transportation of the shipment from the specified receiving point after it's been sterilized, then to the headquarters of “Tawzea” where the devices get sterilized for the second time before starting to configure them and installing the operating system and the necessary software for them by the Ministry of Education specialists. Lastly, the devices will go through sterilization for the third time before they are handed over to the eligible students in their homes to carry on their distance learning without hindrance.
